I’m an expert problem solver who’s driven to help make people’s lives easier. I do that by contributing to every phase of the user-centered design process; whether it’s driving discovery workshops, fleshing out meaningful information architecture, or creating beautiful, usable, interfaces.

For over 20 years organizations with annual revenues of up to $15B+ have trusted me with their projects. (Pfizer, Stanford, Liedos, and Sunbelt Rentals, for example.) So I understand how to create awesome interfaces for large, diverse, groups of people. I’m also known for empathizing with customers, paying attention to details, always meeting my deadlines, and working competently with little to no supervision.

I'm always open to the right opportunity if it comes along. So if you think I could be the Homer to your Marge, get in touch!

Work experience

Sunbelt Rentals

Sr. Product Designer - Aug. 2022 - Oct. 2024
Team size: 20+

I designed interfaces for their main ecommerce site that serves 1M unique visitors a month, touching everything from the store locators to the cart, checkout, and my account experiences. I was also the lead designer on their punchout site redesign for high revenue clients that was forecast to add $200M to annual profits).

Streetshares / Meridianlink

Sr. Product Designer - Nov. 2021 - Jul. 2022
Team size: 7
(Streetshares was acquired by Meridianlink in April of ’22.)

I was lead product designer for BLX, a product to facilitate small business lending for regional and community banks. We created an intuitive interface for applicants, and a sophisticated review and decisioning tool for the bank employees. And while the StreetShares acquisition changed the product trajectory, early response from customers was extremely positive.

FFW Agency

UI designer - Aug. 2016 - Nov. 2021
Team size: Really really big

I was involved in various projects in different roles. Often I was leading the design process from the very beginning workshops, all the way to creating visual designs for exciting clients like Stanford, USC, NYU, Liedos, and Pfizer. I’m most proud of the work I did for Pfizer’s drug encyclopedia. The project was complex, but we delivered a massively improved experience loved by both doctors and patients.

YouVersion/Bible.com

UI designer/developer - Mar. 2012 - Feb. 2016
Team size: 25+
Users: 43 million

For almost four years, I was the lead designer and developer for bible.com, which averages 20 million visitors a month. I also collaborated closely with another designer on the native apps for iOS and Android, which have been installed over 200 million times. My last major project was the complete redesign of bible.com, a project that took many months and included the collaborative efforts of almost everyone on the YouVersion team.
